Dr Sam Yoo is a dedicated General Practitioner who graduated from the University of Queensland and has gained valuable clinical experience working in both regional and south-east Queensland before relocating to Western Australia. He is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centred healthcare and enjoys caring for individuals and families across all stages of life. Dr Yoo also contributes to the education of future doctors as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Western Australia.
Dr Yoo enjoys all aspects of general practice and values building long-term relationships with his patients through continuity of care. He has a particular interest in diabetes management, child health, and skin cancer medicine. To further enhance his expertise in paediatrics, he completed the Sydney Child Health Program (formerly the Diploma of Children's Health). He also holds a Certificate in Advanced Dermoscopy from the Skin Cancer College, supporting his interest in the early detection and management of skin cancer.
Dr Yoo is committed to evidence-based medicine, preventative health, and helping patients make informed decisions about their healthcare. He works collaboratively with patients to develop personalised care plans that support their long-term health and wellbeing.
Outside of work, Dr Yoo enjoys spending time outdoors with his toddler and making the most of family life.
